1.  Drink Water First In The Morning

Learn how to drink water as soon as you wake up in the morning.

 

2.  Be Grateful

Be grateful for everything you have.

 

4.  Eat Healthily

Eat only healthy meals that nourish and keep your body at it’s best, avoid eating junk.

 

5.  Take Fitness Class

What is self care

Be adaptive especially when it comes to keeping fit. Exercise often to stay healthy.

 

6.  Enjoy Being Alone

It is important to take time to breathe. Self-care doesn’t have to be expensive and lavish, but it can be as simple as putting your phone or your computer away for some time just to enjoy some time alone.

 

7.  Take A Walk

Each day does not call for a high-intensity workout. Taking a walk can sometimes be the best way to rewind.

 

8.  Sleep

Always try to get an average of 7-9 hours of sleep daily. Sleeping is a good way to relax and refresh yourself.

Having a cup of coffee, tea, playing your favorite song, or even having a gentle stretch can set you in the mood for a good day.

Meditation is a good self-care idea. It can help reduce blood pressure, anxiety, and depression.

Create time for yourself to refresh each day, so you don’t burnout. My best day for time alone is Saturday, I love to call it my self-care Saturday.

Be true to yourself and know when you need to take a break so you don’t wear yourself out as a parent and also so you can give your best as a parent.
